Thank you for taking the time to read up on all JPM has been doing over the last months. Don’t ever forget that YOU, yes YOU, are a huge part of why we are able to carry out these missions. It takes all of us, the body of Christ, working together to make this happen.
Blackfeet Reservation
Our August travels to the Blackfeet Reservation in Montana were, in a word: heavy. There is a great spirit of hopelessness all throughout the reservation. This heaviness is burdensome and feels too overwhelming to tackle.
But it isn’t our job to be the hope. It’s our job to BRING the hope! We must be obedient in doing what we can do and give God the glory for doing all He can and will do!
JPM will return to the Blackfeet Tribe this Christmas Season to bring this spirit of HOPE through testimony, gifts and food. Pray and partner in being a blessing this upcoming Christmas season! HARFORD COUNTY, MARYLAND
Directly after leaving the Blackfeet Reservation of Montana, JPM traveled back east to Harford County, Maryland where we had the joy of reuniting with different friends from Community Christian Church. Joey and Cathy served there in different capacities across a span of 14 years.
Joey got to be on the sidelines with Keith Rawlings and Brian Donley as they coached the Edgewood High School Football Team, Go Rams!
KNOXVILLE, TENNESSEE
JPM next traveled to our beloved Knoxville, TN. Here we had the honor of serving alongside the Oaks Family (pictured) who for the last 30 years have served over 200 homeless individuals every Wednesday night.
They serve food, offer medical attention, clothing, dental and a variety of other services. Each Wednesday night, Tommy Oaks preaches and John Thomas leads worship. WOW!
One thing we can testify about this family is the JOY of the Lord is their strength and firm foundation. Truly, how many 70 year old friends or family do you know who are out serving in such an incredible capacity each week?! To God be the glory!
In previous years, JPM has only ever carried out Christmas Projects for our friends in Gatlinburg, Tennessee. This year we are multiplying our efforts sixfold! JPM will be bringing Christmas gifts and meals to each of the following locations!
