Take a quick break from the heaviness of the elections and politics to come hear some GOOD NEWS! We promised you more stories and God winks from our Fall Missions & Well Projects, so we're here to keep good on our word!
Rwanda
As you know, JPM had a MAJOR Africa Mission last month. While packing for Africa, we were limited to 3 bags and 2 carry ons. We noticed another box sitting on top of all the packed bags.
We opened it to find toys from the Sheridan Family - remember the Sheridan kids: Chandler & Jett, who at their young ages regularly donate their dolls and matchbox cars!? We thought, “how will we ever get this on the plane?”
Well, God makes all things possible (Matthew 19:26) and we gave out that box of blessing the next morning in Rwanda!
JPM assisted in the completion of 2 Drill-A-Well Projects in Rwanda serving 600 individuals offering them each 22 liters of water per day!
Here we partnered with Nathan from Procom. He oversees his own Drilling Rig which is a DREAM and a prayer for JPM to obtain someday.
Just as important as these well completions was JPM bringing a spirit of peace, forgiveness, restoration, grace and blessing upon a hurting people.
The Rwandans are currently commemorating 100 days of national mourning in remembrance of the 1994 Rwandan Genocide where 800,000 Africans (1/10 of their population) were killed during 100 days of slaughter. There is a massive healing work still to be done in their hearts and minds.

About a week into the trip, there was a day where Joey was really missing his 5 granddaughters. The heart of God is so tender and loving towards us, that He blessed Joey with the company of these 5 little Rwandan girls!
We are so thankful for such a personal, loving Father!
Next week we will share about the frustrating delay of JPM leaving Rwanda to get to the next Well Project in Kenya. God spoke to Joey during this time and taught him a major lesson in the difference between being "Lost" and being "Stuck".

In previous years, JPM has only ever carried out Christmas Projects for our friends in Gatlinburg, Tennessee. This year we are multiplying our efforts sixfold! JPM will be bringing Christmas gifts and meals to each of the following locations!
